Maritime Transport

Maritime Transport is one of the UK’s leading providers of integrated road & rail freight logistics, delivering a range of different services such as, container transport & Storage, domestic distribution, freight management & truck sales. Currently, Maritime Transport employs more than 3000 personnel across its 41 sites.

Maritime were aiming to provide a safe environment in all areas on their site. For the location with gates over the rail road, the aim was to manage the safety process of loading and unloading freight trains through controlling the environment. Currently, there are no safety measures in place to carry out the goal of creating a safe environment.

London Ambulance Service (LAS)

The main role of the LAS is to respond to emergency 999 calls; however, many patients do not require an ambulance or blue light service, so they are pointed in the direction of more appropriate care. In addition, they manage the emergency bed service, finding beds for seriously ill patients.

Many LAS stations had a gate that was past its best, or perimeter security, or no perimeter security at all. This left the stations subject to a series of crimes, such as vandalism and theft, across all sites and allowed easy access to unwanted visitors. This then had a knock-on effect with vehicles being able to enter and exit the station, and employees being unable to leave the site.

Siemens

Siemens is a multinational technology conglomerate that focuses on industrial automation, distributed energy resources, rail transport and health technology.

We have installed bollards, swing gates, barriers and a wide range of access controls to ensure that the perimeter security is fully automated. Allowing Siemens to have smooth entrances and exits for all situations.

Amazon

Yes, it is the Amazon you are thinking of, one of the biggest companies in the world! They have been part of our portfolio across a number of years, installing a number of perimeter security systems.

We have installed a variety of perimeter security at their sites across the UK. Some of what we install consists of: turnstiles, pedestrian gates, bi-folding gates and barriers.

Of course, all of the equipment we have installed is accompanied by access controls such as photocell sensors and induction loops. Allowing for fully automated perimeter security.

Taylor Woodrow

Taylor Woodrow is one of the biggest civil engineering companies in the UK. They undergo both small-scale improvements and major projects.

We installed a large bi-parting gate in combination with a swing gate. To accompany the operation of the gate, various access controls were installed to allow the gate to function in semi-automatic or fully automatic mode.

SunBelt Rentals Uk

Sunbelt Rentals UK is the largest rental equipment provider in the UK! We have the pleasure of installing barriers, manual bollards and sliding gates at many sites across the UK.

Much of the equipment we installed also came with access controls such as photocell sensors, radio receivers and remote controls, as well as adjustable tip supports for barriers which were installed.

Bifrangi

Bifrangi is a manufacturer of components for the agricultural, off-highway, marine, power generation and mining sectors. They are also world leaders in closed die forging and finished machining of large crankshafts.

The client had pre-existing gates, which were old and rusting, diminishing the reliability and robustness of the perimeter security. This means any prospective person wanting to enter the property unauthorised would be able to gain access to the premises easily.

DPD

DPD is one of the top time-critical carriers across the UK, and we have had the pleasure of installing the perimeter security at their Heathrow depot.

We provide a call-out service, which means if something goes wrong with their bi-folding gate, we will send out an engineer as soon as we can to fix the issue. Getting their gate up and running again for complete perimeter security.

BMW

BMW is a well-known car manufacturer across the UK, with garages all over the UK – some of which we have installed their perimeter security.

We have had the privilege of installing barriers and bollards along with access controls, to allow for complete automation across various BMW sites within the UK.

NMB Minebea UK Ltd

NMB Minebea UK Ltd is a child company of MinebeaMitsumi Inc of Japan. The core competence of NMB Minebea is landing gear bearings, aerospace bearings of swaged and split construction, tram coupling and special vehicle suspension bearings.

The site had been the target of a series of thefts and ram raids, resulting in the loss of equipment and product. Existing security, such as a pair of swing gates, was not successful in preventing unauthorised access. This meant that entering the property, when unauthorised, required little force.
